Her professional background includes over 10 years of experience in legal translation project management. She has also worked extensively on forensic linguistics research.
Her academic background includes degrees in English and Spanish Legal Translation and Court Interpreting. She earned a Master’s degree in Translation and a Master of Philosophy in Linguistics from the City University of New York and is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Linguistics. Since 2002 Mrs. Raña has been teaching Translation, Interpretation, and Linguistics at Hunter College and Queens College of the City University of New York.
XUÂN-NGA CAO, M.A., M.PHIL., has an extensive academic and professional career.
Her professional background includes over 5 years of experience in software localization and text data mining, and her current research is on computational models of language acquisition.
Her academic background includes a BA in English Studies and a MA in Language Engineering from University of Paris. She is currently pursuing doctoral studies in Linguistics at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. Mrs. Cao has been teaching Translation, Interpretation, and Linguistics, online and at Queens College and Stony Brook University.
